Newborn photoshoot in Doha: What to expect from booking to final image delivery
Consultation & Booking
Your newborn photography journey begins with a consultation where we discuss your preferred package, style, and session details. To secure your booking and reserve your baby’s due date or session date, a 500 QAR non-refundable retainer fee is required. This retainer guarantees your spot in our calendar and is deducted from your final balance.
The remaining balance must be settled on or before the session day.
Styling & Setup Planning
Personalize your newborn photo session by choosing your favorite colors, themes, and props. You can either select from our available setups or simply share your preferred color scheme, and I will design beautiful, customized newborn photography setups that perfectly match your vision.
Session Day
Before your session, you will receive a detailed newborn session preparation guide to help ensure a smooth experience. On the day of the shoot, all you need to do is relax and trust me with your little one. The baby’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. Feeding, soothing, and diaper change breaks will be provided throughout the session as needed.
Photo Selection & Final Delivery
After your newborn photo session, you will receive a private online gallery link to view and select your included images. If your package includes all unedited images, you can download them directly from the gallery. Once your selections are finalized, I will professionally edit your chosen photographs and deliver the final high-resolution images within 7–10 days.

When is the best time to do a newborn photo shoot?
The ideal time for a newborn photoshoot is within the first 5 to 14 days after birth (often cited as 7–10 days), as babies are sleepier, more flexible, and naturally curl into womb-like, posed positions. This window is preferred because infants have fewer skin issues, less colic, and are easier to soothe and pose safely.
How early should I book my newborn photography session?
Most of our mummies book their sessions in the third trimester, which is the ideal time to secure a spot and ensure a stress-free experience.
Do note that booking early increases your chances of securing a session within your baby’s 5–14 day window.
How do I book a session with Baby Bliss Studio?
Ready to capture some memories? Once you’re set to book, we’ll collect a few details from you to finalize the date. A 500 QR retainer is required to secure your spot, with the remaining balance due on or before the day of our session. After booking, you’ll receive our comprehensive Guideline Document, covering everything you need to know for a smooth experience before, during, and after your shoot.
How long would the session take?
Our typical newborn session lasts between 3 to 4 hours. This includes time taken to feed, change and cuddle your baby. Babies are all unique and some require more attention than others, so do keep in mind that your session duration will be dependent on this factor.
When will I receive the preview gallery after the session?
You will typically receive your Preview Gallery, which will allow you to choose your favourite images, a minimum of 2-3 days after your session has been completed.
How long will it take until I receive my final images and/or prints?
We typically take 2-3 weeks to fully process and hand-edit a full gallery of selected images for our clients.
